Gaming Business To Increase In The Philippines?
Recently during the External Development Summit in Canada, 7 of the largest local game developers met with Trade Undersecretary Ponciano C. Manalo Jr. and other delegates of the Philippines to discuss their future business there. Developers that were said to have been in attendance were Blizzard Entertainment Inc., Electronic Arts Inc., Ubisoft Entertainment S.A., Square Enix-Eidos, Microsoft Studios, Activision Publishing Inc., and 2K Games Inc. According to Inquirer.Net, “During the three-day summit in Canada, the Philippine delegation was able to encourage top gaming firms to explore business prospects in the country. They met with 28 major game developers and publishers.” In my opinion, if all goes well this big move could and will stimulate MAJOR growth to the Philippines gaming industry. Go Philippines! The Godfather Of Gaming But You Can Call Him Don Gamez.
A Game-Tuber/Gaming Facebook Community Moderator named Don Gamez intends to bring the innocent fun back to gaming. Based on Don’s observations of how people are in today’s gaming society, gaming has lost its innocent, and to Don its originally intended fun aspect. Gaming has become very competitive; Do I believe it shouldn’t be? No. I like a little competition and trolling occasionally, but there are a large number of people out there who still just wants to have fun without the hassle of gamers like myself :-P. If you are one of those people, check out Don’s Facebook Page where he and many others like him just want to have fun. Here is a quick and HILARIOUS video that Don created titled “The B Team”:

Mario, Link, & Others Are Sell Outs In Japan?
According to Siliconera, “In its third week on store shelves, Super Smash Bros. for 3DS sold 109,811 copies; That’s down from 321,363 copies the week prior. Japanese sales tracker Media Create says that the game could have sold more, but stock shortages got in the way.” I am totally not surprised that SSB for 3DS has sold out in Japan, but what does surprise me is its massive success here in the U.S. of A. According to a local source named Brandon Culley of Douglasville, GA., stores have sold out all around him; Turning him away saying, “We had a limited quantity of units. Check back in a couple of days.” It seems that Japan was not the only one hit with stock issues. I am waiting to see how the sales are affected when the Wii U version of the game drops (According to speculation and rumors) in November, especially with all of the new character reveals. MEGA RAYQUAZA CONFIRMED!!! As if we didn’t already see that coming -__- . According to the Pokémon Co., “Mega Rayquaza’s skills are sure to wreak havoc on an opponent’s strategy with its Delta Stream Ability,”. “Powerful moves like Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Sandstorm, and Hail will fail in the face of strong winds whipped up by Mega Rayquaza, whilst Abilities like Drizzle, Drought, Sand Stream, and Snow Warning will not even activate. In addition, moves of a type to which Flying-type Pokémon are usually susceptible will only deal normal damage.” Lets hope that with all of this hype brewing that both OR & AS can live up to the standards of its future players.
